BEST - Bentley Eco School Team The John Bentley School in Calne has an Eco Group called BEST, we are a group of students who think about the environment and look at ways we can be more environmentally friendly and promote sustainability within our school: We meet every Wednesday Lunchtime at "The Drop In" upstairs in Science.

The first seeds have been sown
Today, the group potted up two different varieties of tomato plants, one type are small cherry tomatoes and the other are large. They were potted into biodegradable 3" pots, with peat free compost. They have been watered and placed on the Science window sill to germinate, this should take a couple of weeks.
Next week the group have decided to pot up some sweetcorn for the allotment area.
