BEST - Bentley Eco School Team The John Bentley School in Calne has an Eco Group called BEST, we are a group of students who think about the environment and look at ways we can be more environmentally friendly and promote sustainability within our school: We meet every Wednesday Lunchtime at "The Drop In" upstairs in Science.

Plastic recycling- we use plastic milk bottles and the students use plastic drinks bottles
To check every class room still has a paper recycling box and they are using it.
Eco group working with the local police to come up with ideas, design poster and encourage others to put their litter in the bin and the Bluz N Zuz’s discos.
Make a cage and collect all the fallen leaves to make leaf mulch

Look into how much it would cost to start recycling plastic from school

Trip to the BRE Innovation Park
Trip organised for the Eco Group, year 12 Humanities Students and year 9 Science students.  Visiting BRE Innovation Park, to learn more about sustainability and how we can reduce our carbon emissions.
